ROAD HAULAGE

With 32 years experience (established 1974) Alex Skea
Ltd. provides road haulage services that are reliable
and flexible enough to meet your business needs. Our
transportation network covers all of the UK, with haulage
to Ireland and Europe being arranged if necessary.
Our fleet of vehicles includes Flatbeds, Box Vans, Curtain
Siders, Trailer Units and Artic Lorries (forklifts onboard
if required). Our artics have a capacity up to 38 tonnes
(maximum gross weight allowed on the road including
vehicle). Both our box vans and curtain siders are available
in 20' and 40'.
Our operators license to date is for 13 vehicles with
full 'Goods in Transit' insurance. We are also a member
of the Road Haulage Association. If offloading by forklift
is required our driver will be suitably qualified to
do this. Alternatively, 'handballing' can be arranged
if necessary - i.e. goods unloaded by hand. Hydraulic
tail lifts fitted as standard on most vehicles.
If necessary our Netdwes Steel
Storage containers can be utilised for the transport
of your goods.
SHIPPING
For your convenience we can take care of all
aspects of the transportation of your goods. Offering
shipping nationwide, including all the UK islands.
